H2M Offshore Accommodations has recently placed 6x 33ft. modules on Dolwin Beta, a high voltage direct current (HVDC) link to transmit offshore wind power to the power grid of the German mainland. The 33ft. modules were mobilized and commissioned by H2M staff in time and within the highest safety standards. The 6x 33ft modules provide additional accommodation to 16 POB including recreation, office and locker areas.
H2M recently supported Spirit Energy Nederland B.V. during their 2018 shutdown campaign on the J6-A. For the fourth time in a row H2M was awarded for the supply of temporary offshore accommodations. For a period 7 weeks H2M’s lightweight accommodation modules expanded the J6-A POB capacity with 16 persons.
H2M is pleased to announce that it is now registered as a member with the NWEA (Netherlands Wind Energy Association). NWEA is the Dutch sector association working to increase sustainable wind energy on land and at sea. NWEA unites the wind sector in the Netherlands and accelerates the transition towards a renewable energy supply by spurring businesses and governments to invest in wind energy. NWEA actively promotes the utilization of wind power in the Netherlands, on land and offshore.
On Friday 5th January H2M took part in and successfully passed its annual ISO 9001:2015 and SCC* 2008/5.1 surveillance audit. The audit covered all aspects of the Quality Management System with respect to H2M’s scope as “the design, sale, rental, manufacture, mobilization and demobilization of lightweight accommodation modules for the offshore industry” organization, and no major nonconformities were identified.

H2M Lightweight Modules has recently placed 8x 33ft. 2-men sleeper modules on VOS Start, a DP2, subsea-support walk-to-work vessel owned by Vroon Offshore Services Den Helder. The 33ft. modules were placed on board the newly built VOS Start in the harbour of Amsterdam (NL).

We expanded our rental fleet with a DNV-2.7-1 certified 10ft container which contains a complete satellite TV system.
In our production facility in Montfoort, The Netherlands we have built a 20ft workshop container for our client Tideway Offshore Solutions. Completely custom made according the requirements of Tideway Offshore Solutions. we created a DNV-2.7-1 certified 20ft electrical workshop container for offshore purposes. The container includes a complete drawer storage wall, 230V sockets, 110V sockets, transformers, AC-unit and a solid workbench.

During Offshore Energy 2014 H2M presented the next generation in lightweight modules. On our stand we exhibited a 20ft module in steel, that weighs less than 6000kg. Besides the 20ft module, H2M also updated the 33ft linkable module and reached a weight of approx. 8500kg.

Last March H2M completed the project for 2 clients on board the Dolwin Alpha converter platform, ABB and Heerema Fabrication Group. Project on the Dolwin Alpha topdeck contains accommodation modules for 16 POB, including a lockerroom, office and a meeting room. Next week H2M will also deliver a small laundry.
March 11th, the 33ft prototype lightweight module in steel was subject of a load- and droptest according DNV 2.7-1. Witnessed by Lloyd's Register the module was proof loaded, lifted and dropped. After the dust disappeared no damages or defects were detected. Ready for the next steps.

The DolWin-alpha platform is installed on 17 August this year in the German North Sea. This enormous power platform is part of a wind farm in the German Bight. It was built by Heerema Fabrication Group in Zwijndrecht on behalf of the Swedish company ABB.
